UAE First League champions Ahli, who already have Egypt midfielder Hosni Abd-Rabou, will compete in this year's World Cup competition on home soil.
"Ahli Dubai wanted Abou-Treika to be with them in the Club World Cup, but we turned down their bid," Ahli marketing director Adli Al-Qaeyi told FilGoal.com.
"Abou-Treika is not for sale, so is any of our star players. We had some changes this summer and thus we need to keep hold of our top players."
Ahli have blocked a host of offers for Abou-Treika from abroad in recent years, and the light-hearted playmaker has often been loyal to the Cairo club.
The Egyptian champions sold Flavio Amado, Hussein Ali and Ahmed Hassan so far this summer.
