Egypt coaching staff are setting up a friendly game as part of the African champions' preparations for their crucial World Cup qualifier against Rwanda in September.

"So many teams offered to face us in a friendly game in August," assistant coach Hamada Sedki told FilGoal.com without disclosing the names of the teams interested in taking on Egypt.

"We will make an announcement after setting up the game."

Egypt's technical staff members will convene soon to decide which team the Pharaohs will take on next month, and discuss the other preparations for the critical qualifier.

Hassan Shehata's side, who beat Rwanda at Military Academy Stadium on Sunday, will have to win the second leg to keep alive their slim World Cup qualification hopes.

Egypt lie in second place of the qualifying stage Group C on four points, while Algeria are at the top with seven.

Rwanda are languishing at the bottom with a sole point, Zambia are third with four.
