AC Milan will not pursue their hunt for Sevilla striker Luis Fabiano after the Rossoneri failed to agree a price with the Primera Liga club over the player.
Sevilla were willing to let Fabiano leave for £25 million, but Milan director Leonardo Cantamessa said that his club are not willing to pay such price for the Brazilian's services.
"The negotiations for Luis Fabiano have reached a dead end," Cantamessa told Sky Italia.
"We have made our offer and they said no. It has been revoked."
Cantamessa added that it is unlikely Milan will try and make another offer for the 28-year-old.
"You need to ask Vice-President Adriano Galliani if there will be another offer, but at this moment I really don’t think so."
Milan are looking to enforce their attack after the club recently sold playmaker Kaka to Real Madrid for £56 million.
