"We are holding advanced talks with Al-Sayed over a possible move in the summer," Reda Ghoneim told FilGoal.com.
"I will sit down with him on Thursday to discuss all the deal details before finalizing it."
Al-Sayed is set to leave Tersana following their relegation to the Egyptian second division.
The 30-year-old has failed to impress since leaving Zamalek, the club where he enjoyed a glittering 13-year spell, last summer.
He played for Telecom Egypt, who were also relegated, and Tersana last year but struggled to regain his top form.
Al-Sayed, a diminutive wing-back who used to bamboozle defenders with his pacey runs down the left flank, earned 46 caps with the Egyptian national team and scored four goals.
