Primera Liga club Malaga were frustrated to see an official loan offer they made for striker Amr Zaki turned down by Zamalek.

According to Malagahoy newspaper, the Spanish club admitted that Zamalek are asking too much to loan out the Egyptian international hitman.

The paper added that the 26-year-old has welcomed a move to Malaga, saying that Zaki might pressure Zamalek to lower their asking price.

When asked about the Malaga offer, White Knights' spokesman Sabri Serag said that the club recently received some offers for Zaki that weren’t good enough to be publicly announced.
