The decision came after Egypt youth coach Miroslav Soukup allowed Taalat to interrupt the young Pharaohs' preparation for the U-20 World Cup and join Ahli.
Ahli football director Hadi Khashaba told the club's official website that Talaat will be taking part in the Red Devil's training sessions starting Saturday.
Meanwhile, Soukup decided to call up Ahli striker Ahmed Nabil for the Egypt youth squad, after the player impressed during his club's Germany training camp.
Nabil is set to join the Egypt fold later on Thursday, few hours after featuring for Ahli in the friendly game against Arab Contractors.
The six-time African champions enter the Contractors clash without Mohamed Abou-Treika, Ahmed Belal, Hossam Ashour, Mohamed Khalaf, Wael Shafik and recently-signed striker Francis Doe Forkey.
Egypt will be hosting the FIFA U-20 World Cup to be held in September.
