Ittihad coach Taha Basri announced that his club will soon make a decision to sign either Zamalek midfielder Mohamed Abdullah or Ahmed Saied of ENPPI.

"We are watching both players closely before I decide which of them will suit our requirements," Basri told FilGoal.com.

The former ENPPI tactician added that he refused to sign any of the African players the Ittihad board suggested, as none of them were good enough to join his team.

In the meantime, the Alexandria club are set to meet Police Union in the team's third friendly during their ongoing summer camp.

Ittihad have previously drawn 1-1 with lower division side Pharco before beating Rashid 1-0.
