Petrojet playmaker Walid Soliman said that he has accepted the club's decision not to sell him to Ahli.

The 25-year-old earlier said that he would relish a move to Ahli after the Red Devils made an official offer to lure him from the petroleum side.

However, Petrojet decided to keep hold of Soliman for another season.

"I wanted to join Ahli because they are a massive club with great fan base, but I respect Petrojet's decision," Soliman told FilGoal.com.

Soliman refuted rumors that he abandoned his team's training in order to pressure the Petrojet board into accepting Ahli's bid.

"I'm totally focused on working hard for Petrojet and helping the club win a trophy next season," Soliman added.

Soliman had a brief loan spell at Ahli Jeddah between January and June this year.
