Egyptian striker Gamal Hamza failed to convert two golden opportunities for FSV Mainz during the Bundesliga side's 1-1 friendly draw with Getafe of Spain.

Getafe took the lead through former Real Madrid striker Roberto Soldado on 56 minutes.

Colombian midfielder Elkin Soto levelled the score for Mainz one minute before the final whistle.

Hamza, who played the whole game, should have scored on two separate occasions in the 62nd minute.

The 27-year-old recently signed for Mainz after his contract with Zamalek expired by the end of last season.
