AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi said that his club will no longer buy players above 30 years of age.

The Rossoneri have been criticised for having Massimo Oddo, Dida, Christian Abbiati, Gennaro Gattuso, Gianluca Zambrotta, Clarence Seedorf, Giuseppe Favalli, Andrea Pirlo and Kakhaber Kaldze, who are all above their thirties.

"We will concentrate on those players who are younger than 23," Berlusconi said.

Milan have so far made just one signing during the off-season in the shape of American defender Oguchi Onyewu.

However, the club is expected to add new faces, especially after the sale of Brazil playmaker Kaka to Real Madrid for 67 million Euros.
