Fiorentina have included new signing Cristiano Zanetti in their UEFA Champions League squad, shortly after landing him from Juventus.

Zanetti, who joined Viola from Juve on Monday, is now available for next week's preliminary-round clash with Sporting Lisbon.

New boy Marco Marchionni has also made the squad, while Italian international Franco Semioli was omitted.

Fiorentina finished fourth in the Serie A last season and could make the Champions League group stage if they beat Sporting.
