Ittihad beat Egypt U-20 1-0 in a warm-up game that was held as part of the young Pharaohs' preparations for the 2009 U-20 World Cup.

Salah Khorshid converted a penalty kick one minute past the hour mark to give the Alexandrian side a narrow win.

Egypt U-20 will play another two exhibition matches with Military Production and Petrojet on August 30th and September 2nd respectively, after they decided not to camp in Turkey as initially planned.

Afterwards, a camp behind closed doors will be held in Alexandria, where Egypt U-20 will take on their Venezuelan and Hungarian counterparts in more friendly games.

The U-20 World Cup is hosted in Egypt from September 24th to October 16th.

The hosts, who have been drawn in Group A, will face Trinidad and Tobago in the inaugural game.

Group A also includes Paraguay and Italy.
