AC Milan coach Leonardo admitted his side have attacking problems following Wednesday's 1-0 Serie A defeat to Udinese.

"What we lack is the final spark," Brazilian rookie coach Leonardo was quoted as saying by Milan's official website after the game.

"With regards to the ball possession, the position of the players on the pitch was right. We lack the final metres, in the finishing phase."

Udinese forward Antonio Di Natale scored midway through the first half to hand the Rossoneri their second defeat in five games.

Milan's stuttering start to their campaign leaves them in 11th place with seven points, six behind leaders and arch-rivals Inter.

"In my opinion the draw would have been fairer: it's true, in the first half we did not create many goal scoring chances, but until their goal we did not even allow anything," Leonardo added.

"In the second half, then, we created something. We have proven a lot of will to score."
