The Croatian international will undergo a surgery this week after sustaining the injury during the 3-1 triumph over Hertha Berlin on Sunday.
Labbadia faces bad luck with his strikes as Paolo Guerrero is also sidelined with a knee injury.
"We have to find out a back-up for him in the upcoming weeks," the coach added.
