The 30-year-old Brazilian is Inter's first-choice goalie for the past three seasons and has helped his side to clinch successive titles in Serie A.

"His contract will be adjusted. There are no problems and the negotiations are going calmly," Branca was quoted as saying by Gazzetta dello Sport.

Branca moved to close the door against reports that Cesar is targeted by several big European clubs.

These reports gained some credibility when the keeper's wife, Susana, wrote on her blog that Cesar might move away from his Italian side.
