Ahli included the 26-year-old striker in their squad for the game, the Red Devils said on their official website on Sunday.
Meteb, who scored in a recent friendly game, has been out of action since suffering a serious knee injury last April while playing on loan at Saudi giants Ittihad.
He missed Egypt's Confederations Cup campaign and Ahli's first six league games.
Youngsters Ahmed Shokri and Mohamed Talaat, who were part of Egypt's U-20 World Cup squad, might also get a chance to prove their worth on the senior level against promoted Mansoura.
Ahli will miss suspended striker Francis Doe and injured duo Hani Al-Egeizi and Osama Hosni.
The title holders, who eye a sixth successive league triumph, are on top of the 20-team table with 14 points from six games, three ahead of Petrojet and Ismaili.
