"It was an impressive display, and it's an undeniable proof that our pre-match training camp paid dividends," he told FilGoal.com.
"But that doesn't necessarily mean that we made no mistakes.
"There were recurring defensive lapses that could have cost us dearly, but we were lucky.. unlike our opponents.
"I told Eric Bekoe and Walid Soliman to make use of the airy spaces behind Hodoud's rearguard, and that strategy resulted in the first and third goal.
"We also depended on the counter attacks, and this was another reason why we won."
Petrojet international players will have a three-day rest, before joining Egypt's training camp which is held in preperation for next month's crunch World Cup qualifier with Algeria.
