Abdul-Hamid failed to fill the void left by Al-Hadari
Harras Hodoud boss Tarek Al-Ashri denied that his side were seeking to sign Ahli's unsettled goalie Amir Abdul-Hamid in the January transfer window as recently reported.
"We don't need a new guardian for the time being. I called on the club's board to bring in a defender and a striker, but not a goalie," Al-Ashri told FilGoal.com.
Ahli handed Abdul-Hamid an indefinite suspension for swearing at coach Hossam Al-Badri, when he knew that he was left out of the squad for last week's league game against Mansoura.
Later on, the 30-year-old custodian revealed that he would either move to the US or join another Egyptian Premier League outfit in the winter.
