Zamalek defender Mahmoud Fathallah is set to make his comeback on Sunday in a friendly game with Gaish, after spending around three months on the sidelines due to injury.

The Egypt international sustained a complex injury late in August, suffering a dislocated shoulder and a fractured collarbone.

After reaching full recovery, Fathallah is now seeking to start regaining match fitness before the restart of the Egyptian Premier League.

"I want to take part in Zamalek's exhibition match against Gaish," he told FilGoal.com. "It's really important for me to restore my form as soon as possible."

The league was halted as a result of Egypt's preparations for their critical World Cup qualifier with Algeria next Saturday.
