African champions Egypt beat the Desert Foxes 2-0 on Saturday to force a decider that will be held in Sudan on Wednesday.
The match's venue, which was picked by FIFA, will be extremely comfortable for the Egyptians when they take on their opponents, Shehata believes.
"There are strong bonds between both countries (Egypt and Sudan)," the former Zamalek star said. "The players feel like they will play the game in Cairo.
"We are going to make all the people of the Nile Valley happy."
The playoff game was set up after Egypt and Algeria became equal in points, goal difference, goals scored and head-to-head record in Group C of the World Cup qualifying stage.
