Roma legend Francesco Totti hit back at critics after bagging a hat-trick in the 3-1 victory over Bari in the Serie A on Sunday.
The talented marksman was repeatedly vilified of late, with some pundits believe that the 33-year-old has lost his scoring form.
After hitting a treble, Totti mocked those who lost faith in his abilities, asking them to keep criticizing him.
"Now I hope they keep on saying I'm past it, as it brings me luck. Go on, say I'm finished as a player!" he said after the win over Bari.
"That is all I'm saying today, as it would be too easy for me to give interviews after a hat-trick. I'd rather go home."
