Harras Hodoud are confident of their valid stance in the recent saga involving playmaker Ahmed Eid's participation in last week's win over Zamalek.

Zamalek protested over Eid's involvement in the game, claiming that the Egypt midfielder should have been suspended after his straight red card against Arab Contractors.

"We are not part of this case. We deal professionally and we have written proof that justifies our position," Hodoud managing director Mohamed Mashoor told FilGoal.com.

"We received an official note from the Egyptian FA before the game, giving us the go-ahead to play Eid."

Curiously, Eid scored Hodoud's opening goal in the 2-1 victory at Cairo Stadium, which marked Hossam Hassan's debut as Zamalek coach.

Meanwhile, Hodoud are set to transfer-list Nigerian striker Nasigba John-Jumbo after signing Malian midfielder Abdoulaye Sidibe from Stade Malien.
