Sevilla will be without their top marksman Luis Fabiano until the Christmas break due to an ankle injury.

The Primera Liga club said that the Brazilian will be out for at least two weeks with a sprained ankle sustained in the 1-1 draw with Valladolid.

Fabiano will miss the Champions League group-stage finale against Rangers on Wednesday, in addition to a couple of Liga games.

However, the 29-year-old is unlikely to be missed as Sevilla have already booked their place in the knockouts and need a draw to ensure top spot.
