Juve boss admits 'bad blow'

Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara was left stranded by his side's embarrassing exit to the UEFA Champions League at the hands of Bayern Munich.

Juve, who needed a draw to reach the knockouts, were thumped 4-1 by a brilliant Bayern side in Turin.

"It is a bad blow, the result is clear and strong. We only did a little of what we prepared," Ferrara said after the game.

"We knew that we had two results possible. It seems like we’re a team which does not know how to manage such situations. We were not tranquil."

Juve's only consolation is that they will now compete in the UEFA Europa League in an attempt to repeat their 1993 triumph.
