The Brazil striker, who is now in Sao Paulo, sustained a right-foot injury in a Primera Liga match on December 5th.

Sevilla doctor Juan Ribas said Fabiano could remain on the sidelines for around a month to reach full recovery.

"If all goes well, he'll be available by the middle or end of January," Ribas said.

Fabiano will take no part in Sevilla's clash with Barcelona in the Copa del Rey on January 5th.
