Ahli outcast Osama Hosni is close to joining Ismaili in the winter break, the striker's agent said.

Hosni was deemed surplus to the requirements of manager Hossam Al-Badri and a move away from the league champions is imminent.

"Hosni is close to signing for Ismaili. He chose Ismaili over Gaish who were also interested," agent Tamer Al-Nahhas told Modern Sport TV.

"With all due respect to Gaish, Hosni is looking for a club with the same caliber of Ahli."
