Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure has been voted Ivorian Player of 2009 for the second year running, surpassing Chelsea ace Didier Drogba.

"To be considered twice in a row as the best player in a country where there are top talents is fantastic," said Toure.

"I am honored and would like to dedicate this to my parents and all my fans all over the world.

"Now let's go and do something good for this African Nations Cup."

Lille promising playmaker Gervinho came third after Toure and Drogba as the trio prepares for the Elephants' CAN 2010 opener with Burkina Faso next week.
