Kayserispor snatched a last-gasp 1-1 draw with Genclerbirligi in Mohamed Shawky's first game in the Turkish Super Lig.

The Egypt midfielder played full 90 minutes for Kayseri, following his move from Middlesbrough earlier this month.

Burhan Eser gave Gencler the lead in the 68th minute, but the league's top scorer Ariza Makukula equalized for Kayseri in injury time.

Kayseri remain fourth of the Turkish league table with 35 points, while Gencler are eighth on 27.
