Depleted Ahli promote youngsters for Mahalla trip

Ahli manager Hossam Al-Badri has included youngsters Shehab Ahmed and Ayman Ashraf in the 19-man squad for Monday's league game at Ghazl Mahalla as the leaders miss several key players.

A long list of injuries involve Egypt duo Emad Meteb and Sayed Moawad, Angola's Gilberto, Ahmed Shokri and long-term causalities Moataz Eno and Mohamed Abou-Treika.

In addition to that, Egypt skipper Ahmed Hassan will sit out the Mahalla trip through suspension.

Mohamed Barakat makes his return following a three-week absence with a hamstring problem, while new signing Sherif Ekrami has yet to be fit to make his debut.

Unsettled duo Ramzi Saleh and Ahmed Belal were also named in the squad.

Defenders: Wael Gomaa, Sherif Abdul-Fadil, Mohamed Samir, Ahmed Al-Sayed, Ahmed Ali, Ayman Ashraf

Midfielders: Ahmed Fathi, Abdullah Farouk, Hossam Ashour, Shehab Ahmed, Mostafa Shebeita, Mohamed Barakat.

Strikers: Mohamed Fadl, Francis Doe, Osama Hosni, Hani Al-Egeizi, Ahmed Belal.
