Zamalek have decided to keep hold of Ayman Abdul-Aziz after the midfielder had terminated his loan spell with Turkish side Diyarbakirspor.

After he returned to Zamalek last week, Abdul-Aziz's future was unclear as manager Hossam Hassan was thought to be considering whether to rely on him or not.

But it seems the Egypt international is set to resume his duties with his parent club.

"Ayman is welcomed in the team and he will have a vital role to play in the upcoming period," football director Ibrahim Hassan said.

"He is one of the experienced players who have been with Zamalek since a long time, so he can help us."

Abdul-Aziz rejoined Zamalek from Trabzonspor two seasons ago, but failed to settle in with the Whites, before being sent out on loan to Konyaspor and Diyarbakir.
