Zamalek midfielder Alaa Ali was subjected to a car accident after his team's friendly game with UAE's Bani Yas in the 6th of October City, but was able to return home safely.

"The anterior part of my car was completely destroyed after a horrific crash, but thank God I am fine," the 22-year-old told FilGoal.com.

"I bruised my left hand and I have some minor scratches but there was no need to go to the hospital, so I went home.

"The medical staff will decide whether I can train with the team or not."

Ali has been in fine form since Hossam Hassan took charge of Zamalek and is regarded as one of the Whites' hot prospects for the future.
