The Dervishes reached the continental competition's last eight on a 4-1 aggregate win after beating Sudan's Hilal 3-1 in the round of 16 second leg on Sunday.
After the game, Ismaili assistant coach Mahmoud Gaber underlined the importance of having competent substitutes in the team.
"The tournament (Champions League) will be more pulsating, so we need to bolster the squad," he said.
"We are looking to land four players who can make a difference for us while we are competing for the title.
"(Substitutes) Omar Gamal, Ahmed Khairi and Mohab Farouk led us to the group stage at Hilal's expense.
"We didn't have enough talents on the bench this season and that's what we want to change."
