Former Germany forward Neuville retires

The 37-year-old has only started one Bundesliga match for Borussia Monchengladbach this season.

Neuville played 69 times for Germany, including two appearances in the 2002 and 2006 World Cup finals.

He was also on target on both occasions, scoring crucial goals against Paraguay and Poland respectively.
