Shadi Mohamed's large contract could force him out of Ittihad this summer, FilGoal.com understands.

Shadi runs out of contract by the end of the season and Ittihad will only offer him an extension if the 32-year-old toned down his demands.

After signing on a free transfer from Ahli last year, Shadi became the highest-paid Ittihad player with a contract worth EGP 1.25million per year.

The Egypt international didn’t have the best of seasons in Alexandria as he spent long spells on the sidelines due to injury.
