Ismaili are looking to end speculation regarding Hosni Abd-Rabou's future by prolonging his deal, the club's chairman Nasr Aboul-Hassan said on Saturday.

Egypt midfielder Abd-Rabou is set to return to Ismaili after ending a two-year loan spell with UAE side Ahli.

He scored two goals in his final game with Ahli on Friday before going home, where he is expected to be the subject of intense media speculation amid reports linking him with Cairo duo Ahli and Zamalek.

Egyptian champions Ahli, who failed in their attempts to sign Abd-Rabou two years ago after Ismaili fans staged a protest against the sale of their favorite player, made no secret of their desire to sign him in the close season.

Reports also suggested that Zamalek might be interested in acquiring his services but Ismaili are adamant he will remain at Ismaili as long as he does not receive 'suitable European offers'.

"We will sit down with Abd-Rabou once he returns to Ismailia to discuss his future," Aboul-Hassan told FilGoal.com.

"We will not stand in his way if he receives suitable European offers but this did not happen until now.

"We are looking to keep hold of him by extending his contract for three years."

Abd-Rabou's current deal runs out in the summer of 2011.
