Petrojet will keep hold of Walid Soliman beyond the current season as Petroleum Minister Sameh Fahmi ordered the club not to offload any players.

The talented schemer was frustrated after the Petroleum side prevented him from joining Ahli in the winter transfer window.

Petrojet promised Soliman, who's also targeted by Zamalek, to let him go in the summer but couldn't live up to their word.

"The Petroleum Minister told us not to dispense with the players whose contracts are still valid," Petrojet boss Mokhtar Mokhtar told FilGoal.com.

"It's not my call; I have nothing to do with this decision.

"If we give Soliman the all-clear to leave, others will ask to depart too and we won't be able to control the situation."

Soliman, who spent half of season on loan at Ahli Jeddah, will see his Petrojet contract out in 2013.
