Chelsea ace John was slated of late after being involved in a romantic relationship with Vanessa Perroncel, the former girlfriend of his ex-colleague Wayne Bridge.
John was stripped of England captaincy while Bridge quitted the Three Lions' squad because he refuses to play alongside the center-back for his act of betrayal.
A Paul conquest further blemished the reputation of the Terries.
It was reported that the 31-year-old, who plies his trade at Conference National side Rushden & Diamonds, was seeing goalkeeper Dale Roberts' fiancée Lindsey Cowan.
Roberts was informed that the 25-year-old secretary had been cheating on him. She admitted being unfaithful when he asked her, unlike Paul who 'denied everything'.
"Lindsey came out and told Dale what had been happening. He was horrified," an anonymous source was quoted by Daily Star as saying.
"Dale rang Paul and he denied everything but he's admitted to other players that he's been sleeping with her.
"The players have all sided with Dale and are calling themselves Team Roberts.
"The players are really p****d off with Paul for doing this to a team-mate. There's no way they will be able to play in the same team."
Roberts, as such, broke up with Cowan and now feels very bitter about how Paul stabbed him in the back.
"It's true, she told me she'd been seeing Paul," the devastating goalie told the British tabloid.
"We've split up. I'm trying to get my head around it all, it's only just happened. I'm a bit messed up.
"It is bad enough she's done it at all but the fact that it is with him, one of my team-mates, makes it that much harder to bear."
Paul is married to Sarah, the sister of Fulham left-back Paul Konchesky.
Back in November 2009, Paul and John's father Ted Terry was caught supplying cocaine in a pub.
He was secretly filmed arranging to pass on the class A drug to an undercover reporter.
Five months later, Ted, 56, was ordered to appear in court to face charges. He decided to plead guilty in May.
