Egyptian Premier League newcomers Smouha have started reinforcing their squad by signing veteran defender Beshir Al-Tabie on a free transfer.
Smouha chairman Farag Amer confirmed to FilGoal.com that the 34-year-old defender has penned a two-year contract with the Alexandrian club on Monday.
Al-Tabie, who came out of retirement last year, ended a short spell with relegated Mansoura to become Smouha's first coup this summer.
Mohsen Saleh's team are expected to have a busy summer in the transfer market ahead of their first season in the top flight.
Saleh, a former Egypt coach, declared interest in Ittihad center-half Shadi Mohamed of late.
