Arab Contractors sprang a surprise by beating Masri 3-2 away on Tuesday to reach the Egyptian Cup quarter finals.

Ihab Al-Masri put the visitors ahead only after four minutes before his teammate Mohamed Samara made it two seven minutes from the interval.

Masri winger Ahmed Shedid pulled one back on the stroke of halftime while Mohamed Khalifa brought the score level on 80 minutes.

Reda Al-Weeshi hit a last-gasp winner for the Mountain Wolves in the last minute.

Contractors will face Harras Hodoud, who beat Ragaa 2-1 on the same day, in the Egyptian Cup quarter finals.

Early Opener

Al-Masri's early opener set the game alight when he came unmarked to connect with a Samara low cross from inside the area.

Masri exerted huge efforts to equalize, taking control of the game and wasting a good number of scoring opportunities in the process.

Amid the hosts' dominance, Contractors doubled their lead after Salah Amin whipped in a cross that was headed into the net by Samra.

Former Ahli player Shedid reduced the arrears right before the break upon converting a penalty kick, to give Masri a new hope.

Red Card

Contractors defender Mohamed Gamal received a red card in the early minutes of the second half, which gave Masri a numerical advantage.

The home side took a stranglehold on the game but failed to translate their threats into goals on many occasions.

Khalifa cancelled out Contractors' lead after he was set up by Ahmed Shroyda .

The referee also sent off Masri defender Hani Saied in the 84th minute.

Six minutes later, Al-Weeshi convereted a spot kick to score the winning goal.
