Ahmed Eid scored twice and won a penalty kick to help defending champions Harras Hodoud sink Arab Contractors 3-1 and reach the Egyptian Cup semi finals on Saturday.

The prolific forward opened the scoring on 22 minutes after cutting inside his marker to penetrate the area and dink into the far angle with a right-footed effort.

Eid doubled Hodoud's lead eight minutes from the hour mark after heading home an inch-perfect Ahmed Abdul-Ghani cross.

The Egypt international earned the penalty kick which Abdul-Ghani converted in the 90th minute to complete the rout.

Hamada Al-Sayed scored Contractors' only goal 15 minutes from time.

Alaa Kamal's free kick hit the bar and fell into the path of Al-Sayed who made no mistake from point-blank range.

Hodoud will face either Ismaili or Ittihad in the cup semi finals. Both teams clash with each other later on the same day.
