Petrojet coach Mokhtar Mokhtar faced a dilemma while picking his 18-man list for Sunday's cup quarter-final meeting with Ahli because of the Petroleum side's injury-hit squad.

"We have four players unavailable, and thus we had to name several youngsters to complete the match squad," he told FilGoal.com.

"Mohamed Koffi will undergo a knee operation while Cofie Bekoe and Eric Bekoe are suffering hamstring problems.

"Mohamed Hafez is also suffering a groin strain."

Backline duo Mohamed Ramadan and Amr Hassan are also injured and will miss the game as a result.

"I wish I could lead Petrojet to the cup title before I leave," Mokhtar added.

Mokhtar, who has been Petrojet's tactician for four seasons, announced a while back that he would step down from his role after the Egyptian Cup.

Gaish coach Farouk Gaafar is tipped to succeed him as Petrojet boss.
