The Brazilian football confederation played down a training-ground misunderstanding between Kaka and Felipe Melo.

Speculation fueled by Brazilian media claimed that Kaka was angry after a hard challenge from his teammate, but a whole different story was later revealed.

Melo said he was not even involved in the play as Robinho was the one who made the tackle, but when the former tried to help Kaka get up, the angry Real Madrid star shunned him.

"Felipe Melo felt he was unjustly blamed for something that never happened. He is Kaka’s friend," a statement from the CBF read.

Kaka, Melo and Robinho are probable starters for Dunga's team who take on North Korea in their opening World Cup on June 15th.
