Cameroon hitman Samuel Eto'o received his marching orders for two bookable offences as the Indomitable Lions were condemned to a 3-1 defeat by Portugal in a warm-up game on Tuesday.

Eto'o, who threatened to take no part in World Cup after Cameroon legend Roger Milla criticized him, was sent off for a harsh challenge on left back Duda while trying to gather a loose ball on 34 minutes.

Portugal took a two-goal advantage after Raul Meireles scored twice on 32 and 46 minutes.

Cameroon's Achille Webo reduced the arrears midway through the second half but Nani regain Portugal's two-goal cushion nine minutes from time.
