Mahmoud Abdul-Hakim revealed that he moved to Masri from Petrojet on a three-season deal starting next season.

"I have already signed for Masri for EGP one million and 700,000," the skillful midfielder told FilGoal.com.

"My fee and salary should be determined after I sit down with (Masri chairman) Kamel Abou-Ali on Monday.

"The negotiations between both clubs started before last January but Petrojet wanted to keep hold of me.

"The club's board met up with me, Osama Mohamed and Ahmed Shaban to discuss our new deals but I refused to stay, unlike the duo who extended their contracts.

"I have been trying to join Masri for a while and I will do my best with them next season."

FilGoal.com understands that Abdul-Hakim was further encouraged to join Masri after he knew that Mokhtar Mokhtar will take charge of the Port Said side.

Both men worked together at Petrojet over the past few years.
