Ismaili manager Mark Wotte wants his team to follow in the footsteps of World Cup champions Spain after suffering defeat in their first game of the season.

The Dervishes slumped to a 1-0 home defeat to Algeria's JS Kabylie in the Champions League, but Wotte believes his team can still take something from the game.

"Spain lost their first match in the World Cup but went on to win the competition," the Dutchman told FilGoal.com.

Wotte voiced his concern with the team's lack of firepower following the continental defeat and the Dervishes are consequently looking for new strikers.

FilGoal.com has understands that Ismaili are in talks with 'three decent' strikers and that at least one of them will sign before the registration window closes on Thursday.
