Ahli have reached a temporary solution with Cairo Stadium officials over the staging of Sunday's Champions League clash with Ismaili.

Egypt's primary stadium, which is Ahli's home venue, announced this week that it will not host the game due to unpaid fees from the Cairo club.

With three days to go before the vital match, the Egyptian champions managed to reach a compromise with the stadium's management.

"The problem of the Ismaili game is over after the stadium had received part of the due fees," Ahli GM Moharram Al-Ragheb told FilGoal.com.

"But it is only temporary, so we should have another meeting with the stadium's officials.

The late checks mostly include unpaid damages caused by Ahli fans during the whole of last season.

The Red Devils host Police Union in their first Egyptian Premier League game of the season on August 6th.
