Zamalek's football director Ibrahim Hassan lashed out at attacking midfielder Hussein Yasser, saying he will be 'harshly punished' for not reporting back from international duty on time.

Former Ahli outcast Yasser featured for Qatar in a friendly match last week and should have arrived in Egypt on Thursday.

However, he hasn't showed up at Zamalek yet, which resulted in his exclusion from the Whites' squad for their second Egyptian Premier League match against Petrojet.

"We contacted the Qatar Football Association (QFA) and we found out that the game was held on Tuesday," Hassan told FilGoal.com. "However, he hasn't arrived till now.

"It's not the first time for Yasser not to come in time, which means he's not disciplined and doesn't respect the coaching staff's directives.

"He will be harshly punished upon his arrival in Cairo."

Yasser, who has dual Egyptian-Qatari nationality, had also skived off Zamalek's pre-season training camp for days to pay his family a visit in Belgium.
