Egyptian youngster Rami Refaat is set to be handed a trial at Sunderland, where Egypt winger Ahmed Al-Mohamady is plying his trade.

Egyptian youngster Rami Refaat is set to be handed a trial at Sunderland, where Egypt winger Ahmed Al-Mohamady is plying his trade.

Nordsjaelland's Refaat, who arrived in England on Thursday, will spend one week at the Stadium of Light, FilGoal.com understands.

The 20-year-old will join the Black Cats' reserve team should he impress.

Refaat, who has dual Danish-Egyptian nationality, will feature for Sunderland's reserve team on Monday.

The inexperienced midfielder played for a number of Danish outfits, including Nordsjaelland.

Now he is seeking to kick off his professional career at Premiership side Sunderland.
