The radical Ahli fan group decided not to attend the Cairo giants' games after clashing fiercely with the police in a pre-season friendly.
Ultras Ahlawy members have always been criticized for their tendency to get violent as well as using fireworks to egg on their team.
During Monday's meeting, Hamdi called on the ardent fans to stop boycotting Ahli's matches and once again support the six-time African champions from the stands.
"We sat down with Ahli's board to discuss how we will get back to the stands," one of Ultras Ahlawy senior members told FilGoal.com.
"We apologized for our mistakes and called for protection from the police's persistent raids on us. After all, we are football fans, not criminals.
"Should Ahli agree on our requests, we will support Ahli right away."
The reconciliation efforts came days ahead of Ahli's crucial Champions League showdown against Algeria's JS Kabylie.
