Robinho has joined AC Milan from Manchester City on Tuesday after signing a four-year deal at San Siro.

"AC Milan announces it has acquired Robinho on a permanent deal from Manchester City," a statement on the Rossoneri's official site reads.

Milan owner Silvio Berlusconi confirmed his side's interest in the Brazil international one day before the deal went through.

Former Real Madrid man Robinho was seeking to part ways with City for a while. Recent reports mentioned that he was looking to move either to Italy or Spain.

The 26-year-old turned down a bid from Fenerbahce before joining Milan.

The Serie A club have also signed towering striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic from Barcelona this summer.
